Not that I could Nor that I wouldLet it burn Under my skinLet it Burn! As the day grew old, the night grew younger, and the witchling was on her way home from a journey of being down town for the day. A day that was filled with nothing, but shopping – window of course; a long with the subtle joy of being away from the hectic of the school yard and the in home issues that engulfed her since she and her sister had been here; not that she didn’t love her family. She just needed a break – just as anyone else would, had they been in her situation.
Aurora was a very peculiar place to live, and she was learning this as the days dragged on from her time here. Everyone seemed so closed up – at least the ‘humans’ did. Everyone was so uptight, maybe everyone was like this for good reason? The Cosmic Festival wasn’t too far away, and every one seemed to be getting into the spirits. Little banners hung from street lamps in honor of it. The banners were a pure white with a bit of blue trim with golden rod colored stars along the inside of it. In purple writing read, ‘The Cosmic Festival!’ How original. They couldn’t come up with a better slogan, other than that? Oh well. Leaves that had fallen from some of the trees that lined the sidewalk, crunched under her shoes. Simple shoes, black Converse. They seemed to be what she liked the most, as far as shoes went. The rest of her attire was a knitted black and gray stripped beanie hat. It seemed too big for her head and had the majority of her dark hair tucked into it. On her torso was a black sweater with a black and white plaid scarf around her neck. On her legs was a pair of black straight legged jeans with holey knees.
Her arms remained crossed over her torso as she looked around to the shops that began to close up, and the night life began to come alive. She smirked only faintly as she peered into the nearby windows. Scanning as if she may be looking for something, but was not. There would be no point in searching for something at this hour and knowing you couldn’t get it yet. But something then caught her attention. Nearby steps that brought herself to a halt. She had seen too many horror movies where they started like this, and ended with the girl being slaughtered somewhere. She reached to her side; hidden in a thin holster on her side rested a sheathed dagger. Grabbing the handle grip of it as she turned, looking around and swallowed nervously, “Hello?” she asked in a gentle voice that was easily picked up by the wind.

---------------- The first thing what Julian liked in autumn was that it was getting darker with every day. Soon people will have to rush home at five o'clock. There were too many things in the darkness that they should fear. For example – him. A lone demon who just wants to have fun. He could destroy the village right now. Blow up some shops, slaughter some young students who were rushing home, not even noticing the dark figure what walked trough the shadows, hands in his black jeans' pockets. He felt really comfortable with those usual clothes. He didn't need a red cape to show that he really was formed from evil, and came from hell. He didn't need to have this strange staff thing to show people that he was strong, and he could do magic. Oh yes, he could. He could burn the whole place down with only reaching out his hand.
But it was all so unnessesary. He loved chaos, deaths, the scent and the taste of blood, but there was just No reason to go around, and become a murderer. Those innocent mortals didn't even do anything to him. Well except the part that they never can't shut up. But for now... he felt himself like in paradise. The whole place was all so quiet. He looked around with a bored look. The festival was coming closer, and people were prepearing. How interesting. For some reason he even wanted to go there and look what was going on. Maybe he could have some fun? He could get some young females drunk, and later feed on them. Or he could just make them follow him, and have some other sort of fun. But it all will wait. He didn't want to make his popularity as a rapist, or a manwhore, although, this would be fun. Ladies fell for his unnatural beauty. Julian grinned at this thought. They all were so blind that they couldn't even see a mass destructive weapons in this village. All those vampires, witches and wizards, and werecats – whoever was here, every one of them could slaughter someone. Yet, mortals were so... naive. They couldn't even say who was who.
Demon sighed quietly. Night was young, and he had nothing to do. A young man skipped the street, making his way trough the other one, searching for someone with whom he could just have fun or atleast make fun out of him or her. That was already in his nature. All those sarcastic comments, evil jokes, and laughters at nothing what was normal for them. Then he heard a voice. A young girls voice to be exact. His grin got wider, and he moved quiet as a shadow over there. Sometimes it was so good to be from the dark side. He could control the shadows and he could blend in them. It didn't take long for him to find this little withc who was calling out so loud. She looked rather scared. Why? Did someone follow her? Or was she just scared of the darkness and loneliness? How sweet. All innocent children were so soft.
Julian relied on the wall of one house, and looked at little witche's back. She was damn beautiful, no doupt of that. Yet, always those who he started to like somehow were all so fragile, yet strong, and they could protect themselves. A quiet sigh came from him. He knew that if he would get her, he'd drag her to hell, and after few years he'd just get tierd of her, and he'd let her back to the earth. He would never be with one woman. It would just be so boring, and he wasn't even able to love. So it would be just a waste of time. He'd rather just play with her, bug her, and scare her. The usual things what the demons do before they go and act. “Hello to you, too,“ he replied in his deep and cold voice, still grinning at the fact that he'll probably scare the girl. “Well, you look pretty. What's your name gorgeus?“ Ahh! He really loved this act of a pervert.

A sudden voice startled her, causing her to jerk in the obvious male voice’s direction. She blinked, nervously as this man approached her, obviously putting on some kind of act or something – I mean, who ever found her attractive had to be drunk or obviously high on something… right? Putting her low confidence aside, she felt her hand slowly slip off the handle of the blade, but her guard remained up. Something about him didn’t seem right. Not at all, the air seemed to be different around him, and it was an eerie feeling she got from him.
“I’m Morgan…. ” She said hesitantly. And he called her pretty, again he must be drunk! She then licked her lips and looked away from him, off to the side. Feeling rather nervous as to the male that stood before her, “ What are you doing out so late?” She asked curiously, averting her dark green eyes back to him. Keeping a stern hold on him, not wanting to drop her guard around him. It was just something! He seemed not right, and her instincts were telling her to run, but something was holding her there. Fear? Who knew?! For all she knew he was a rapist and was wanting to prey on her for his own needs for himself. Which could be very well possible, but how often does this happen in this town? Not often, if anything, this was the place where bodies were found – sometimes a few a day. Which was rather odd. It then suddenly hit her; this stranger hadn’t told her his name. She then brushed her bangs from her eyes and blinked a couple times. Trying to keep her cool and to not show this man her discomfort, “And your name, stranger?” She asked with a stern tone to her voice. She looked him over once more, noticing his features a bit better in the light. He was an attractive man, but held a rather spooky aura to him. Something told her this was not right, because he seemed too nice to hold to his over all features the way he was doing it at this very moment in time. A sudden cool breeze blew by that almost gave her a rather awkward chill. Something that told her to leave. That was when she nodded to him with an uneasy smile on her face, “Nice to have met you… sir… But I need to get going now.” That was when she turned on her heels and continued on her way. But the nervousness began to show as she wrapped her arms around her torso and picked up her pace to a sped up walk.[/blockquote]

She indeed was scared. He could even sence her fear, smell it from the distance what they had between each other, and see it in her eyes. He grinned when girl decided to reply to him. It was interesting name, sounding so... different from the mortal names. But that didn't impress him much. He knew too much witches, and he knew that lot of them were having strange nametypes. Then he just shrugged. What he was doing out so late after all? If he'd say that he's looking for a little prey to play with it, scare the hell out of it, laugh at it, and then just walk away, and enjoy the night, that would probably make him really sound like a rapist. Which he wasn't... But who knew. He could go both ways. Slow, gentle and even romantic way or fast, strong, and painful. He'd enjoy both of them.
“I'm walking?“ This wasn't a question, althouhg it sounded so. What on earth would people do out so late if they are not afraid of the darkness, and all those evil things what were there and 'Walked' around. Again, he could feel that she was nervous. Why? Scared? It was just a damn emotion, and brain was overworking. If people would will it all away, they would become braver. Or was she seriously afraid of rapists? How silly! If she was able to protect herself properly, then she didn't have to be afraid of even those drunk men who were on the same street every night. “Don't you think that the night is pretty young, and you can have a lot of fun then?“ He gave her another grin before lookin up at the sky. It was covered with millions bright shining stars. But then he looked back at the girl. Yes, she was pretty, but hell, she looked really young. Not that it would stop him from anything.
“It's Julian, my dear. And it's also nice to meet you.“ he said, bowing infront of her. Although, the last one was a lie. He said it so because maybe the girl would feel a little more comfortable around him for a while. Then he finally stood up, and looked at her with. God, people did really fear him, right? Already the way he was talking, walking, standing, and even looking at them. It was sometimes annoying. He always had to prove himself to someone, but damn, he didn't want to. If people were so afraid of him, so be it. He'll have fun with them anyways. “Already afraid of a random stranger?“ It was over so quickly. What a waste of time. And what a coward! But no, he didn't want her to leave so fast. Witches were interesting to have fun with. They could use some spells, and he could protect himself if they had an urge to attack. He was stronger than they after all.

A sudden stop came from her movement as she turned and looked to the man, blinking a bit. He had called her out on being frightened of a stranger, and who could blame her?! It was like saying she couldn’t be – or so she felt. Her head tilted curiously to the side as she bit her lip, “Is there something wrong with me being scared of a stranger, Julian?” She asked, almost sternly. But she was rather confused at this point. She sucked her lips between her teeth and bit down nervously, harder than before. She continued to keep her distance from him, but had forced herself to look at him.
“You popped out of no where and you expect me not to be nervous?” She then found herself looking around for a moment and blinked a bit, “It’s dark… and aside of me – you’re the only person out here.” She continued to keep her distance at this point. Lowering her eyes a bit and wrapping her arms back around her chest as she continued to stare at the tops of her shoes. It was rather odd that this man suddenly popped out of nowhere. Like he was born from the shadows; forcing himself out to the world, probably to scare silly girls like herself. She backed herself away a couple more steps before her heart began to ease a bit more. She was now not so nervous; but then again, she had yet to lower her guard. This was not about to happen anytime soon. As she waited on his response, she found her eyes scanning his features a couple more times. She admired the fact that his eyes seemed dark and mysterious. Not to mention his face came off as innocent. Almost heavenly, for the features seemed nearly perfect. But the dark hair accented the fact that he may be bad – but how bad? Bad enough to want to kill her and dump her somewhere? Or bad enough that he was a bad boy looking for some kind of fun tonight? Who knew other than him? His over all wardrobe was unique; she was rather fond of it. She smirked a bit and blinked as she looked back up at him before she could find herself in a daze at looking him over.[/blockquote]

Julian was already concidering going after her. It would be really just a waste if he would let her go this way. Besides, who would say no to an innocent act of a mortal man who was new, and lost in the village, though, there was probably nowhere to be lost. But he could sence the fear! Oh how good was the smell. Yes, he will follow her, and later scare her again, popping out of nowhere in the middle of the shadows. It was easy for him to blend in. Even with those clothes as he was wearing only black. He watched Morgan to go, counting every second. No, he won't let her go far away! But a sudden movement made him raise his eyebrows in a little impression. He was waiting for girl to walk away, as fast as she could, but no, she turned herself around, looking at him.
Demon grinned. Oh how brave she was trying to be. It was so cute! “Well, you know my name,“ he pointed out. So he wasn't that much of a stranger any more. Then he stepped closer as the girl started to back up. Interesting, really. She was a withc, why wouldn't she protect herself if she could? When he first met witches, they were brave ones. Of course that was because mortals were afraid of them, and they wanted to kill Every one of them so it was hard for the gifted humans to survive, but they did. When they protected themselves, and didn't back off when they saw someone who was looking a little different. Perhaps it was because of the novadays? Everyone was counting on the others so that the others would come and help, and resque them in time. Well, that wasn't happening. What a disapointment! He grinned at her when he stopped. There was no need to scare, and make her nervous that much. Julian didn't want to clean this street from a fainted young lady.
“I didn't pop out of nowhere. It's your own fault that you didn't look around, and didn't see me,“ he lied. Of course he came out of nowhere, but when the girl turned herself around, he appeared near the wall, relying it, and looking like he was there all the time. And even if he would be there, would Morgan notice? No, he doupted that. He was good at blending in In the shadows. He saw no need to even read her mind. What would he get from there? Panicing voice to tell her to get the hell out of here before He can do something what she doesn't like? Those were probably the traditional thoughts when people saw him. They thought that way even when he was smiling at them or even making some of his rare compliments. But he was used to it. He was a beast from hell, and he was almost carrying the scent of the evil with him.
“Well, on that point, you are not correct, my dear,“ demon said. He didn't even bother to look around. She said here, but he could count that as the whole street or even some neighbour streets, which actually weren't so empty. “There are three drunk men on the other side of the street. Want to go and talk to them?“ His strange offer made him grin even more, and he looked down at the girl. Sometimes it was even odd that he was longer than the others. People always had to look up at him, and he, to keep an eyecontact or just talk politely, had to look down, or sometimes even bend down.

A genuine smile reached Morgan’s pale pink lips. She then shook her head and waved one of her hands, “No no! That’s very well fine. I can do without meeting a drunk tonight.” she said with a slight chuckle in her voice. It wasn’t a nervous chuckle, but more of a going along with his words kind of chuckle. She licked her lips a bit and looked up to the sky. The sun light was now fading and the light that was now remaining aside from the sparkle of the stars, was the light from the street lamps. Dark green eyes averted back to the male, and she found herself smiling a bit still, “I… Do have to get going, unfortunately.” She then nodded and raised her brows, a curious look on her face, “I guess… I could see you around?”
Why was she even smiling? Because her comfort level was rising, but that meant nothing. The man before her still forced her to keep her guard up, but she had ways of defending herself. Plus, if he really wanted to hurt her, he would have already done so. She didn’t want to be rude this time. She stood waiting on his reply, her arms wrapped around her chest as she felt a slight breeze rush through. The breeze was more of gust, forcing her hat to pull from her head, revealing her shinny dark locks, “Oh no!” She huffed and chased her hat, which wasn’t long before she caught it. Standing upright now, and dusting it off. A small smile stretched across her lips as she picked a few leaves from it. Now turning, and looking back at Julian. Her hat remaining off her head as she slowly approached him; stopping at a certain point, “Sorry.” She said sheepishly and felt her face turn a bright pink.
Tomorrow was school. High school and Morgan got along to a degree. She didn’t have too many friends, but loved the school work that the teachers dished out for her to work on. Plus, she was appointed as a tutor for some of the students who had some problems with certain subjects – that weren’t elective courses. She was very bright, but sometimes didn’t just go out to have fun, like today. Who would have thought about her meeting someone on the streets? This never happened!

She smiled! What a succes in his demonic life! But atleast she was feeling somehow comfortable around him, which was good. Although, if she would hate him somehow, be afraid of him, and would want to get away from him, that would definately be more fun. This way, he could really go, and make her a little more... frightened. He didn't want to rape her. No, she looked so sweet and innocent, and if he would do it right now, what would he do next? Yes, sure he could go around, and look for other girls, for some brave ones, but the ones who he could scare, then chase a little and continue with his raping routine, but where the hell would he go later if he'll get annoyed with all this s*it. Of course there were all those other cities in this world, but he must admit that this place was really silent one. Not much of those gossiping old ladies, but true, and real silence. Not like in towns. God how he hated loud things and noises!
Julian raised his eyebrow, but gave her a nod. She will go, he can just track her down, moving in the shadows, invisible for her and all the others. For a demon, it was easy to walk around when it was dark. He never made any extra noise, he could see in the dark, and his footsteps were so quiet that no mortals ears couldn't catch it. The sudden movement made him look up, and he grinned when she heard girls panicing voice, and watched as she caught the hat. He wouldv'e helped her, but she was faster. Or with the urge to get her hat quickly back. “Why are you hiding your beautiful hair, Morgan?“ He actually liked when people blushed around him. That was one of the things that proved that they were alive, not like him. Yes, of course he was alive, technically, but he was almost soulless. As a demon, he had nothing to give to Satan even if he would love to. The only thing what he had, and stayed with him forever was his own body that didn't age, and was extra pale with some tattoo's. No blushes, only the charming appearance. Atleast ladies fell for him, not that he actually went for the prostitutes. They gave themselves to everyone so easily. But Julian... he loved to play. Cat and mice. He loved to chase down his prey, and do whatever he would want with it.
“Would you mind if I walk you home? I promise that I won't harm you if that's what you're afraid.“ Yet. He looked back at her when she approached him. “And you won't have to invite me in, of course.“ No. He will come in by himself if he would want to. Julian could go everywhere, even if the house was full of crusifixes, holy water, and all other stuff. He was even able to enter the church. But he felt dizzy, strange, and it was almost like a hangover for him if he was in this holy place. But in the area, he was feeling only good aura what made him feel sick. People who were wasting their lives to believe in God... he had no words for them. Again, only waste of time and money. “So, what do you think? Or would you like to walk alone on those dark streets?“
He raised both of his eyebrows. Yes, dark. He had to point this out. He would even manipulate with the shadows so that the whole village would indeed be darker than usual, just so that he could walk the girl home, get to know the place, and later, maybe, he could come around, and bully her a little? Or just manipulate with her thoughts, and make her see him in her worst nightmares. That would definately be fun! [/blockquote]

Her eyes widened a bit to his comment. She blinked a bit and smiled some, “My hair isn’t that pretty…” She blushed a bit more and felt her hand touch her cheek. Trying to hide the blush a bit, but was still unbelievable to her. She then shrugged some and placed her hat back on her head, sniffing some as she looked up at him, still with a smile, but his offer next still shocked her even more.
“Would you mind if I walk you home? I promise that I won't harm you if that's what you're afraid.”
Her cheeks continued to blush at him. But now the red was a bit deeper. She smirked a bit and nervously shifted her weight onto one leg as she lowered her eyes, “Uhm… I don’t see why that would be a problem…” She said slowly; turning on her heel and slowly began to walk, but walked at a pace to allow him to keep up with her to walk by her side. This was strange; a boy wanted to walk with her when it was odd for any man – even women wanting to talk to her or walk with her, unless it was her family. She sniffed some to the chilled air and found herself loosening herself up. Her arms came from her chest to her sides as she loosely began to walk. A soft smile came across her lips as she looked up at him, “Hey, uh… How long have you been around here?” She asked curiously. Her dark eyes looking curiously up at the male.
She was good at being curious when she was comfortable. She loved to know more about people who she just met when she gets comfortable around new faces. Now, Julian wasn’t a stranger he was an acquaintance to her. At least someone who may or may not be worth getting to know. He was proving himself to being someone worthy of at least filling the void of curiosity. The leaves crunched under her feet as she walked. Her arms behind her back as she awaited on the man’s reply to her. Her eyes averting from him to the sky, smiling just a bit as she watched the stars, “Pretty…”

Julian chuckled quietly. The girl, however, started feeling more comfortable around him. Humans were so strange for him to learn. On the one hand, Morgan was trying to get away from him. He could sence that she was nervous, frightened. But now, when he offered her that he'll walk her home, she was acting like he was her new friend or something like that. Although, he didn't even consider the plans of becoming friends with her, but it would be good if he'd have an allie who's witch, not that he wasn't able to use magic. “Oh, plaese. I am sure that you know that your hair is beautiful,“ he resisted the urge to roll his eyes. This low ego thing was getting on his nerves. Who were they kidding? Demon knew that even people, who had the lowest ego, had something in themselves to be proud of. And secretly, they were, but never confessed that to someone. Perhaps it was already a lifestyle for them?
He was still looking down at her, mostly at the red cheeks. It was so cute! Yes, it was. This mortal beind had such great emotions! Every human had, and though, Julian never confessed it, he was sometimes even jealous that people could laugh at nothing, and do stupid things. He, at the same time, was like closed somewhere inside himself. Perhaps lost in his own shadows that didn't allow him laugh. The strange thing was that he didn't even flirt with the girls, they fell for him themselves. This demon only gave them soft comments, and already that melted them from the inside, although, he could sometimes see that they didn't like it. They didn't like that his words worked on them so easily.
He walked after her. It was easy for him to keep up even if the person was walking quicker than him. He put his hands into his pockets, walking along with her, enjoying the silence what came between them. For a moment, he even forgot that the girl was walking next to him, as he got lost in his own thoughts. When she spoke, he suddenly looked up from the road, and then turned his eyes at her. “Only few weeks.“ Again, it wasn't a lie. The reason why he didn't come out so much was that it was getting dark so late. And he had nothing to do outside, only walk on the streets, and learn the history of the village. He'd rather just sit in his new house, and read, read his books. One of his rooms was already full of those so he considered the place as his own library.
“I can see that you aren't afraid of me anymore,“ he pointed finally out before looking up into the sky. She was smiling. Was it his succes or she just felt safe when there was someone around in this dark place? Oh, would she even know that the one who was standing right besides her, was the creature of the darkness. The son of a devil. “Yes it is,“ Julian agreed. The sky, space, it all was a beautiful and mysterius. Although, he never thought about traveling somewhere so high, he would like to try it once. And as for the space, he grinned for a moment, satanists thought that the Devil, Satan himself, ruled the place. The darkness came from him. [/blockquote]

“No.. I really don’t. I don’t have many friends. All the compliments I have had from people outside of family were all negative. ” She admitted rather nervously. She hated that aspect of her life. Everyone who was older than 25 always told her she was nice and she was pretty. Her favorite was, ‘ Why don’t you have a boyfriend?’. But it was obvious. The people in this town knew she was strange, and knew something was off about her. They used that ‘off’ feeling about her against her, but to their advantage. Forcing her to feel alienated from the town. But that was most of her family anyways; though for some reason people liked Bianca. Her sister was always talking on her cell to friends – heck, she even joined in on the picking on of her older sister. Morgan didn’t mind her sister though. Behind closed doors, Morgan had the advantage. Bianca hadn’t come into her powers just yet, and what little power she had, it wasn’t much. But other than that, there was nothing there that was nice. She looked up at Julian and smiled some, “ You’re the first compliment outside of my home… and some selective teachers to give me a nice compliment.” The walk wasn’t too long. In the sense that all this wasn’t a long walk taking eternity. They weren’t even half way there yet, but they were close. Her home was a secluded place. It was at the end of a block, and it over looked the ocean. A lot of people thought it was haunted, it was – but ‘haunted’ by the people whom they accused of living there – witches. But they weren’t of the sort that people rumored them to be, in fact these were good witches. Morgan’s mind continued to trail off, until she found herself listening to Julian’s deep, yet soothing voice. She suddenly blinked a bit, “I find that hard to believe, Julian.” The name rolled off her tongue beautifully. Making his name sound almost heavenly at the same time as leaving the bit of mystery that this man created for his name. The steps from her came to a halt as she turned fully to him, “How long have you really been here?” She asked with a small smirk. Curiosity continuing to dwell in her dark eyes; only to have her smile when he pointed out that she wasn’t actually afraid of him anymore. She shrugged, “Not really… But my guard remains up. I know you… but I don’t know you.” She said gently and continued to look up at him. The only light that was given into the night now was the moon light. They had made their way from the light crowded streets; the road here was dark, but one could still see with the few street lamps that were parted from each other almost strategically to give someone just enough light to make sure they didn’t fall into a ditch if they were walking home.“My house is coming up here sometime soon.” She added and looked up at him as she continued to walk on her way. They had now turned the street she needed to be on till she reached the very end. Aurora was small – at least the town was. If you were one place, you knew how to get there by foot, and it took you no time at all to get there. You also knew different ways to get there.[/blockquote]

Julian raised his eyebrows. No friends? Then it must be really boring for her to walk around in this place. But for him, it was actually fun. He loved the peace and silence, and he'd rather to be alone everywhere, but unfortunately he had to do this. People were suspective, and if someone was a loner, that meant that there was something wrong with him. By now, he was just a new guy in the village, and people didn't talk to him because he didn't talk to them. Perhaps they only knew him because he was visiting the bookstore twice a week or something like that. He was almost like collecting thise things. Reading was probably one of the things what he wouldn't call 'waste of time'. No, infact, he found those things really interesting, and he just loved science fiction. Sometimes, it seemed for him that the mortals knew everything about them, but on the other hand, they didn't know that Those creatures like vampires, werewolfs, witches, wizards, demons, and so on, they all were real.
“Oh really?“ he returned to the girls topic about friends. Not that Julian ever had friends in hell, they were more like allies. Of course someone was there when help was needed, and someone was always there to cry on a shoulder, but friends? No. In hell, they gave things to help someone, yet, they waited for a return. And it always came. They had no reason to rush. For them, waiting wasn't a big thing at all. “Maybe you should start a friendship by yourself? Join some clubs or other fun things what children do, and make friends this way?“ He didn't know how to give advice of making friends. He never wanted to have friends, and probably never will have friends. It was just not his line. Yes, of course he can be helpful, but then again, it doesn't mean that he will always be like this. For a demon, it would get annoying so quickly. He would grow tierd of all this, and probably say or do something reckless. Her sudden confession made him raise his eyebrows. First one? Now she must be kidding, right? The place was full of herkind. Didn't even wizards see the beauty of young witchling? “Well then...“ he sighed quietly, finding himself wordless. Why? He didn't know? He probably just lost the trail of his mind. Damn! “It's good to be the first one.“
“How long have you really been here?” He looked away from the dark, yet shining sky, and looked at her. He was actually surprised that she asked such thing. “Few weeks,“ he repeated his words. It wasn't possible that the girl could remember him. The last time when he was visiting the place was centuries ago. He was so young himself as well, and when he looked at Morgan, her face, he couldn't tell that she was as old as he. Julian would see the vise look in her eyes, the look what all immortals have. Witches! “That's confusing,“ he said quietly in his deep voice. But on the other hand, he had to be more careful now. No games anymore. Not that he actually was hiding his personality, but he Then he looked away from her, and on the street, trying to guess which one of the houses is her's. [/blockquote]

“Me?! No! I’m fine with the friendship I have with my family.” She said honestly as they walked down her street. And she was happy with this arrangement she had with her family. It was unsaid. It wasn’t that they didn’t want her to have friends – it was just over the years she lost the interest in making friends since everyone in this town didn’t seem to be into making her one of their closer friends. It was more of her giving up on everyone here. As they neared her home, she looked up at him and stopped on the sidewalk, looking up at him with a crocked smile. He was definitely an odd one, but then again she wasn’t so normal herself. She then continued to walk with him till she reached the end of the street and approached a white picket fence that was being overrun by vines that grew over the archway that lead into the yard. Morgan turned to the male and smiled faintly, “Obviously this is my stop.. I’d invite you in.. But I really do need to get ready for bed. School in the morning.” She said gently and sighed some, “See you around?” She asked innocently. She would have waited on his reply, but from the porch of the large house of the witch – stood one of her aunts calling her name to get inside, “I’m coming!” She called back and looked up at Julian.“ Bye, Julian…” She said gently and walked away from him, closing the fence. From there her slender legs carried her quickly up the walk way and onto the porch of the old home that obviously looked like a witches home. Morgan quickly went inside, but Margaret didn’t follow just yet. She eyed the boy from her porch. She wasn’t stupid and knew of what he was. She said nothing nor did nothing. Just looked at him and turned, walking inside the house and closing the door behind her.[/blockquote]
