The Seeker's quest to kill Darken Rahl succeed with the help of the Mother Confessor and Zed a wizard of the first order. That was six years ago during the time the Mord-Sith Mistress Cara tried to kill Richard. After the defeat of his brother Lord Rahl, the other Mord-Siths turned on Cara. Richard saved her and now she aids him in his quest to defeat the Keeper. Now Richard must yet again save the world. This time the Seeker faces an unknown enemy. His brother Darken Rahl is now running the underworld at the orders of the Keeper. Meanwhile trying to defeat the Keeper and Darken along comes Nathen Rahl. Nathen Rahl is a member of the Rahl family. He is looking to take the throne of D'Hara and wants to kill the Seeker. As Richard is a threat to him taking the throne, Nathen wishes to rule D'Hara. Nathen is a powerful wizard, trying to take over D'Hara to distract the Seeker form his main goal, defeating the Keeper and his brother Darken Rahl. With this happening, this has presented the Seeker with two goals. One to stop the ruthless take over of D'Hara and two, to defeat the Keeper and his brother to save the world. Will the Seeker of Truth fail this journey or will he defeat the Keeper, Darken, and Nathen and save the world again?
